Terms of service, in readable English
This page covers how you use the site and the moving services Arm Strong Quality Movers provides across Austin and its suburbs. We wrote this in everyday language. Request a quote or book a move and you’re agreeing to what’s laid out below.
The price, on paper
No binding estimate leaves without a signature — Marisol or I sign the printed sheet ourselves. What’s written on that signed estimate is exactly what you settle up, and just three things can nudge it: extra items joining the inventory, an added stop along the route, or a moved date once the truck’s already booked. When one happens, a fresh figure gets written down before a box is touched. No creeping meter, no surprise line.
Canceling or rescheduling
- Three or more days out — your deposit comes back in full.
- One to three days out — it turns into a credit good on any move inside the year.
- Under 24 hours — the deposit stays with us, since we had already passed on other bookings to keep your date open.
Coverage and liability
Every move includes the no-cost federal released-value baseline — $0.60 per pound, per article — free of charge. Moving something high-value? Let us know ahead of move day and we will layer on full-value protection covering a load up to $1,000,000. You have nine months from your move date to bring a claim.
What we cannot load
Between federal rules and common sense, a few items never ride along: propane and gasoline, fireworks, loaded firearms, perishables, houseplants over state lines, and cash or jewelry. Pack those yourself and ride with them in your own car.
Getting the rig to your door
At both ends, clearing a spot near the entrance for the truck is on you — or tell us ahead when a downtown dock or reserved freight elevator is the only way in, and we’ll bring a shuttle. Texas heat and the odd summer downpour we work around at no charge. Metered or permit parking on tight downtown or SoCo streets is yours unless we’ve agreed otherwise in writing.
Our content and the governing law
Everything on this site — service pages, area pages, pricing tables — belongs to us. Point a link at whatever page you want; what you can’t do is lift our wording onto a competing mover’s website. Any dispute over these terms is settled under Texas state law.
